SSB Duradrive

SSB Duradrive offers you the option of testing your drives yourself. We can provide prototype test stands and a climatic chamber for this purpose. On request, a test engineer can also assist with your tests.

Our prototype test stands offer a choice of three power stages:

Test stand 1

29 KW / 4,000 rpm / 70 Nm (max. 140 Nm),
metering of torque by a metering spindle (measuring range 200 Nm)

Test stand 2

128 KW / 4,000 rpm / 305 Nm (max. 400 Nm),
metering of torque by a metering spindle (measuring range 500 Nm)

Test stand 3

475 KW / 2,510 rpm / 1800 Nm (max. 2400 Nm),
metering of torque using the loss-summation method

A re-cooling system is provided for water-cooled drives. The flow temperatures and flow quantities are infinitely variable within certain limits. All relevant data relating to current, voltage, power, temperatures and vibration behaviour can be recorded and evaluated using precision power meters.

Our 9.5m² large climatic chamber has a lot to offer.

If you want to test power parameters of a drive under extreme climatic conditions a temperature range of –40°C to approx. +50°C is available. Our climatic chamber covers an area of approx. 9.5 m² (2.3m x 4.1m). The ceiling height of the chamber is 5.10 m.

Values are measured by an Agilent data logger, offering two current inputs and 20 freely selectable channels. The measuring results can be shown as graphs or output as a .csv file.
