Familiar faces, new name Salzbergen, Germany - 1st July 2009 - Due to the strong growth during recent years, SSB-Antriebstechnik GmbH & Co. KG with seat in Salzbergen has decided to form an independent company from its Drive Technology Division. SSB Drive Technology will continue to show considerable growth in the pitch and control systems and visualization sector. By setting up SSB Duradrive GmbH, it aims to offer its customers an even more comprehensive service as regards individual drive solutions. The success story that started nearly 40 years ago will thus be continued. By developing and implementing solutions for machines in the food, packaging, printing, paper, plastic, rubber, solar and textile industry, SSB Duradrive aims to open up new segments in the special drives solution markets. The company believes that other areas of growth include the sectors machine tools and production systems, robotics, installation and handling systems, measuring and test technology as well as the renewable energy sector. Customers expect innovative, reliable and thus sustained drive solutions for very specific areas of application. In the past, SSB Duradrive fulfilled these expectations with decades of know-how, considerable vertical integration and comprehensive consultation services. It will also not disappoint the trust of its customers in future. The known reliability of the products still applies. Current contracts and obligations will of course remain so that there will be no change for customers. SSB Duradrive specializes in the development and implementation of special drive solutions in the range from 0.1 to 2500 kW.
